Regan Meier is a licensed social worker and chemical dependency counselor assistant. Utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as her primary therapy, Regan recognizes how early childhood trauma and distressing, unprocessed life experiences impact quality of life for her clients. Her ability to create a safe space for exploration via Sand Tray Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindful awareness enables her clients to stretch and discover their wiser selves.  Regan has experience with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups treating anxiety, depression, school avoidance, abuse, neglect, behavior problems, relationship distress, substance use disorders, moral injury, PTSD, prenatal and postpartum issues, and performance anxiety. Prior to entering the field of behavioral health, Regan studied cultural anthropology and traveled the world widely researching traditional healing methods. She is a member of the EMDR International Association and the National Association of Social Workers. Regan lives with her family in the Wayne County area and enjoys cooking, gardening, and kayaking.
