Navigating life’s challenges can be especially challenging at times for everyone. In times like these, finding a counselor can be beneficial to one’s personal growth and healing.

Patricia believes that every client should feel seen, heard, and valued. She provides a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment where she meets the client wherever they may be in their life and tailors their counseling treatment accordingly. She supports the client in identifying their goals, building confidence, and promoting hope for their healing journey.

Patricia is a supervising licensed professional clinical counselor. She received her Bachelor’s of Psychology from Kent State and her Master’s of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Malone University.

Patricia has experience in providing therapeutic counseling services to children, teens, adults, and couples. She has special emphasis in the areas of anxiety, depression, survivors of physical and sexual abuse, strengthening parent-child relationships, adjusting to life changes, and enhancing and improving couple relationships.

Her treatment approaches include person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, play therapy, and trauma informed therapy.

Patricia feels that it is important to provide clients with the necessary tools to first manage symptoms and resolve current life stressors and then to empower them to move forward with hope and confidence to improve their lives.

Patricia lives with her husband in the Wayne County area.
