CHOOSING THE RIGHT THERAPIST
We know that choosing the right therapist is an important decision. We are dedicated to making sure that you feel a connection with your counselor as we believe that establishing a good relationship with your therapist allows you to build a level of trust that will insure the success of your therapy sessions.
THE INITIAL CALL
When you make your initial call to our office, we make every effort to connect you with the counselor we feel will best suit your needs. We encourage you to ask your therapist questions and express any concerns you may have in your initial appointment.
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY THERAPIST?
Your comfort is our absolute top priority. If after your initial meeting, or even a couple of sessions with your counselor, you do not feel comfortable with the therapist you were assigned, do not hesitate to let either your therapist or a member of our administrative staff know.
FINDING THE BEST MATCH
We will gather information from you about what your concerns are, make a determination as to whether another therapist in our office would be a better match, and will be happy to transfer you to that therapist. If for any reason we do not have a therapist who we think will be able to assist you with your specific needs or would be a good match for you, we will be happy to make recommendations to other providers in the area.
