Wendy Kendrick (she/her) is a licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervision designation in the State of Ohio. She is experienced in providing support and treatment to children, teens and adults. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She began her career working in a community-based setting, including a domestic violence shelter. She then transitioned to school-based counseling in urban school districts, while also serving clients in a rural setting using equine-assisted psychotherapy before transitioning to private practice. Her experience includes treating individuals and groups struggling with anxiety and depression, anger problems, life changes, OCD, survivors of trauma and abuse, and issues pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community. Her treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation and stress management, motivational interviewing, play therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care, She is a certified telehealth provider. Wendy sees children, teens and adults. She lives in Stark County and enjoys digital art creation, photography, and patronizing the arts.
