
JULISSA MULLET, MSW
Julissa is a Licensed Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and teenagers and also enjoys working with adult clients. Julissa received her Bachelor’s of Social Work and Master’s of Social Work degrees from the University of Akron. Julissa enjoys working with clients of all ages and helping them understand their value and worth in the midst of the challenges they face. Julissa has experience in working with a wide range of children and adults including those who have developmental disabilities and those who are or have been impacted by foster care and adoption. She finds deep fulfillment in being a part of the healing process of trauma and attachment issues, in the clients that she works with. Julissa has received training in Child Centered Play Therapy and in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She uses a Person - Centered approach as she strives to meet each client where they are at in their journeys. Julissa enjoys incorporating a faith-based approach in treatment when requested. In her spare time, she enjoys hosting, spending time with friends and family, participating in her church, and going on any manner of adventures with her husband including hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and road tripping.
