
ALEXANDRA DEHOUST, LPC
Alexandra DeHoust is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes in empowering clients from all walks of life. She is dedicated to providing a warm, genuine, and supportive atmosphere where individuals feel safe to explore their experiences and work toward personal growth and healing.
Alexandra is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before pursuing her counseling career, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and spent eight years in corporate leadership roles. This background has strengthened her understanding of the challenges individuals face in navigating professional demands, relationships, and life transitions.
Alexandra takes a holistic approach to counseling, integrating person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused techniques. She emphasizes empathy and unconditional positive regard to truly understand each client’s perspective and experiences. Alexandra works collaboratively with clients to explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them use these insights to move toward meaningful and lasting change.
She works with individuals experiencing life transitions, relational issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, and is passionate about walking alongside clients as they develop resilience, self-awareness, and hope for the future.
