ASHLEY SYROID, CT
Ashley Syroid (she/her) is a counseling intern who has joined us for the final phase of her training. She is under the supervision of Wendy Kendrick, LPCC-S. She was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She received her bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Walsh University in 2011. Ashley is currently enrolled in Malone University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and is expected to graduate in May 2022. Ashley is passionate about providing support and treatment to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has experience working as a chemical dependency counseling assistant for clients struggling with substance use disorders. She has worked with troubled teens in a group setting. She has experience providing individual counseling to clients who have difficulties with trauma, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Ashley uses a strength-based, holistic, intuitive, and collaborative approach. She will support, validate, and empower her clients in whatever way best serves them. Ashley currently lives with her family in Stark County and enjoys the outdoors.
