New Life Counseling, a private practice counseling office in Dover, OH is seeking to add a licensed or license-eligible psychologist who can provide clinical services to our growing practice. Preferred candidates would have experience with CBT and DBT, Christian counseling, testing and assessment, treatment of adults, adolescents, and children, marital, and family therapy. The clinician would have the opportunity to have a core of assessment and testing with a caseload of clinical appointments to quickly develop a part-time or full-time caseload. We are looking for someone who wants a long-term commitment with the possibility of eventually gaining practice equity and clinical director duties. Requirements:

• The prospective candidate for this position must have a Doctoral Degree in Psychology or Philosophy

• Must be independently licensed with the State of Ohio or be independently license eligible

• Must be appropriately credentialed and have a minimum of two years’ experience in providing counseling services in a clinical setting.

• Must be willing to work primarily in the office at our Dover location and provide some services through telehealth

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations for adults, adolescents, and children.

• Provide diagnostic assessment, formulate diagnoses, and communicate individual treatment plans in conjunction with the client and other individuals as indicated and complete treatment plan updates as evidenced through clinical chart review

• Administer psychological testing and assessments utilizing a wide variety of assessment tools

• Provide testing and diagnosis for ADHD and Autism

• Produce high-level evaluation reports for a variety of requests

• Assist clients in mobilizing their resources so they can participate in the exploration of a problem and its ramifications.

• Participate in case reviews

• Dedicated to providing very high-quality therapeutic services
